Overview

The HR Supervisor plays a critical role in leading and optimizing the core People Operations functions that drive an exceptional employee experience on a scale. This position oversees a team of People Experience Specialists and partners closely with leaders across Talent, Total Rewards, and People Analytics to ensure HR programs are executed consistently and in compliance with company policies and regulations.

 

With a focus on planning and compensation operations, and overall, PE Partners support, this role balances strategic oversight and hands-on execution, ensuring the organization remains agile, people-centric, and data-informed in a fast-paced virtual operating environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach a team of People Experience Specialists across multiple locations.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to direct reports.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and assistance to People Experience Partners and business leaders including executives.
  • Lead onboarding, cross-training, and ongoing development efforts within the team.
  • Own and continuously optimize HR administrative processes including onboarding/offboarding, employment changes, and lifecycle documentation.
  • Implements organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, or performance management strategies as developed by the parent organization.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure seamless processing of requisitions and hiring actions (e.g., ICIMS or other ATS platforms).
  • Effectively communicate with the PE Director for the development and implementation of strategies keeping in view NDR’s long-term and short-term goals.
  • Monitor compensation data for consistency, equity, and alignment with company guidelines.
  • Support mobility programs within locations and collaborate on compensation benchmarking efforts.
  • Support benefits, payroll, and other functions on the People Team.
  • Identify process gaps and lead automation or system enhancements where needed.
  • Manage and deploy complex People projects and lead change initiatives, including implementing new tools and technology that will provide better support to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Events, People Partners, and L&D teams on initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Proactively identify process inefficiencies and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Ability to take the lead on companywide People-related projects and provide timely and regular updates to Head of HR.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire HR professionals.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and project management skills (e.g., Design Thinking, Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong analytical mindset; experience using data to drive decisions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change in a high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Dayforce, ICIMS) and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI).
  • Computer competency and ability to work with a computer.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Punctuality expected, ready to report to work on a consistent basis.
  • Attain and maintain high performance expectations on a monthly basis.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Use and navigate multiple computer systems with exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • Remain calm and professional during difficult discussions.
  • Take constructive feedback.
  • Available for full-time position, overtime eligible if classified non-exempt.
