Overview

The People Experience Partner serves as a strategic advisor and trusted collaborator to business leaders, aligning people initiatives with operational needs and company culture in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on enabling strong employee experience through localized labor strategy, proactive employee relations, and direct support for performance, engagement, and retention efforts.

 

Acting as the frontline connection between employees and leadership, the People Experience Partner identifies workplace trends, leads complex employee relations cases, and ensures consistent application of policies and best practices. In close collaboration with the People Experience Specialist, this role helps shape organizational effectiveness and fosters a positive and inclusive work environment across all locations and teams.

Responsibilities

 

  • Ability to provide coaching, assistance and guidance to business leaders and employees
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee relations issues, including employee grievances, harassment, and general concerns.
  • Facilitate and develop training and development programs for all levels of employees along with the L&D Team.
  • Answer employee questions about People policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all department and company matters.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Dominican Republic laws as well as actively understand changes in the legal landscape.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding as needed, team events and company-wide events.
  • Administer and maintain People activities and programs, such as trainin and safety.
  • Support benefits, payroll, and other functions on the People Team.
  • Ensure the relevant People processes and systems are up to date, accurate & complies with legislation.
  • Assists in administration of compensation, compensation benchmarking and knowledgeable on benefit programs.
  • Assists with evaluation of employee performance and ability to evaluate risk and compliance for employment related decisions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience in Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner role required.
  • HR certification preferred.
  • Possess strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Skilled in professional communication across all levels of employees.
  • Computer competency and ability to work with a computer.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Punctuality expected, ready to report to work on a consistent basis.
  • Attain and maintain high performance expectations on a monthly basis.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Use and navigate multiple computer systems with exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • Remain calm and professional during difficult discussions.
  • Take constructive feedback.
  • Available for full-time position, overtime eligible if classified non-exempt.
