Overview

The Operations Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with Debt.Help’s file disposition policies and supporting the leadership team in tracking and executing progressive discipline actions. This role will monitor daily reports, initiate discipline processes, and maintain accurate records of all discipline steps and compliance actions. The specialist will also work closely with the Queue Monitor to ensure agents in violation of policies are correctly reflected in the queue system.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily reporting to confirm all files have appropriate dispositions.
  • Notify agents, managers, and leadership immediately of any disposition violations.
  • Initiate and track progressive discipline steps, including documenting all actions such as PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans) and Corrective Events (CEs).
  • Maintain a centralized and up-to-date spreadsheet tracking all progressive discipline actions.
  • Coordinate with leadership and team members to ensure timely signing and acknowledgement of PIPs and CEs.
  • Collaborate with the Queue Monitor to manage agents impacted by disposition violations and ensure they are appropriately adjusted in the queue system.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in compliance monitoring, reporting, or sales operations support preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., data tracking, reporting, and analysis).
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and a proactive problem solver.
  • Consistent punctuality and strong attendance record.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and responsibilities.

Compensation & Work Environment

  • The role will be funded through the Debt.Help overhead budget.
  • Office-based position in the Dominican Republic.
  • Need to be able to work on time zone working hours of 12:00PM - 9:00PM EST, Monday to Friday, to support a PST based team with a focus on meeting deadlines.
