Overview

The Business Intelligence Specialist is a highly motivated analytical, organized, self-driven and detail oriented individual. This role has a high impact on workflow processes, KPI reporting, and efficiency improvements. A high performer in this area is exceptional in Excel, capable of juggling several projects at a time, communicates effectively, and has a keen sense of finding trends in data collection, analyzing those trends, and converting findings into actionable items that help the business make better strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary liaison between the Sales Team and the Data Intelligence and Rev Ops Teams to build a solid reporting and analytical infrastructure for all Sales and PreQual reporting and KPIs.
  • Uses analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights in work processes and regularly communicates areas of improvement.
  • Compiles, and presents carefully reviewed data and takeaways to support business strategy and decision-making.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for senior management.
  • Supports ad hoc projects as directed by Leadership.
  • Assists and proactively seeks to identify and develop ways to automate processes to increase efficiency.
  • Keeps a close watch and identifies areas of improvement for tier 1 key performance indicators and provides feedback and takeaways in real time.
  • Recommends organizational changes, such as new systems or procedures.
  • Using data analytics, derives logical conclusions and insights to improve business performance.
  • Collaborates with Rev Ops, WFM, and the management team to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Leads or supports additional analysis as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or sales operations role, preferably within a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power BI, Power Query, R, and Python.

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

  • Salesforce experience is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely.

  • Comfortable working with senior leadership.

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and providing constructive feedback.

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute ideas and solutions to a collaborative team environment.

  • Must be punctual, responsible, coachable, and reliable.

Work Conditions:

    • Full-time, onsite position (40 hours/week), with additional overtime as needed.
    • Consistent and timely attendance is expected.
