Overview

Broadway Support Services is hiring two Data Engineers to support National Debt Relief’s growing data operations. These roles are backend-oriented and focused on building and maintaining scalable, reliable data pipelines. Engineers will primarily work with SQL and dbt, ingesting and organizing data from Salesforce and other source systems to support the US Retention and Negotiations departments. This is a data warehousing-oriented role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and transformations using SQL and dbt.
  • Curate and organize datasets sourced from Salesforce to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely availability for analytics.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Salesforce Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify data owners and improve data quality.
  • Partner with Analytics and Engineering teams to deliver clean, well-modeled datasets for reporting and decision-making.
  • Contribute to the documentation of data models, processes, and workflows to support data transparency and reproducibility.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues, escalating or resolving with guidance from senior engineers.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

 

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Strong documentation habits and experience contributing to data dictionaries
  • Jira or similar tools for ticket-based work management
  • Soft skills: independent, proactive, curious, collaborative, and a problem-solver

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in cloud environments / Snowflake
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience with dbt
  • Familiarity with Salesforce data structures is a plus; training can be provided

 

Education and Certification:

 

  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Portfolio, side projects, GitHub, and other work are highly valued.
