We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Data Product Manager to join our growing data team. This role is a critical bridge between our business stakeholders and our technical data teams (Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Data Enablement).

The ideal candidate has a background in data analysis and a passion for project management. You will be responsible for ensuring that the data we provide to the organization is well- understood, well documented, and ready for use. Your primary mission will be to treat our data as a product, enhancing its quality, accessibility, and utility to drive data-driven decision-making across the company.

Data Curation & Documentation

• Investigate, define, and document data tables and columns to support their integration into our data warehouse.
• Perform exploratory data analysis using Excel to understand new datasets and validate the meaning and business logic of data columns.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and engineers to ensure the accuracy and clarity of data definitions and metadata.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirement Gathering

• Attend meetings to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for the data teams.
• Effectively communicate project timelines, progress, and potential roadblocks to all relevant parties.

Process Improvement

• Identify and help implement process improvements to enhance the data team's operational efficiency.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving data governance, data quality, and overall team workflows.

• 1-3 years of experience in a data-focused role such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or a similar position.
• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with project management principles, including managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter with a high degree of ownership and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and using project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello.
• Prior experience in a product management or project coordination role is a plus.
