Overview

 

Purpose of the Role:

Lead the security process, align policies and procedures, and manage the guarding vendor to ensure safe, compliant operations. Ensure compliance with company security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, fostering a safe and secure environment. Coordinate with Front Desk for access control and badges.

 

 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the security process (policy, SOPs, incident response, investigations, reporting).
  • Liaise with guarding vendor: rosters, post orders, training, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate CCTV monitoring, access control processes, and badge issuance with Front Desk.
  • Conduct risk assessments and drills; ensure compliance with life-safety/security standards.
  • Manage incident logs/ledgers; ensure escalation and closure of cases.
  • Deliver security awareness and onboarding briefings for employees and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance audits and implement corrective actions for security gaps.
  • Support emergency response coordination and continuous improvement initiatives.

Decision Rights:

  • Approve/adjust guarding posts and rosters; initiate vendor corrective actions.
  • Restrict access or lock-down areas during incidents in coordination with FM.
  • Authorize escalations to law enforcement or corporate security as needed.

KPIs:

  • Incident response time and closure (% within target).
  • Guarding vendor SLA performance (%).
  • Access control exceptions reduced (trend).
  • Audit findings closed (days).

Interfaces (Internal/External):

  • Internal: Facilities Manager, Front Desk, Workplace Services Lead, Ops Supervisor.
  • External: Guarding vendor, CCTV monitoring partners, local authorities as required.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years in corporate security or protective services with vendor management experience.
  • Knowledge of CCTV/access control operations and incident management.
  • Strong communication and documentation discipline.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Equivalent experience with recognized certifications may be considered.

 

Shift/Availability:

Monday–Friday 09:00AM–6:00PM; Saturday 08:00AM–12:00PM. Must be available for emergency escalation outside scheduled hours.
